Mark Green, Co-Founder
Mark Green has spent over 25 years as a highly successful sales executive in the high technology industry, specializing in software startups. Prior to acquiring a management interest in GDS, Inc. in 2006, Mark successfully grew the sales organizations of several leading enterprise software companies. As the Vice President of Sales of Silknet Software, Mark helped lead the company to a highly successful IPO in 1999, which resulted in a $2.5 billion market capitalization for Silknet. Upon Kana Communications' acquisition of Silknet in 2001, Mark became the Vice President of Strategic Accounts for the combined companies. Later, Mark became Vice President of Sales of Relicore, Inc. which was subsequently acquired by Symantec.
Joe Motta, Co-Founder
Joe Motta has spent the last 17 years building GDS, Inc., as Co-Founder and President, into one of the leading providers of graphic design consulting services, wayfinding and architectural signage solutions for the Healthcare Industry in the United States. GDS's client list includes over 300 major healthcare institutions throughout the northeast.
Prior to GDS, Joe spent 4 years with a start up PC based software company as a National Account Manager responsible for managing relationships with European automotive manufacturers and their North American auto dealerships, evangelizing and educating them on the software solutions provided. Joe also was instrumental in the acquisition of this startup by ADP Dealer Services Division. Joe began his career with 4 years with Reynolds and Reynolds as a Regional Account Manager representing turnkey business systems to automobile manufacturers.
Geoff Halstead, Chief Product Officer
Geoff Halstead is a Digital Media product development executive, entrepreneur and consultant with over 22 years of experience in building successful Web and Mobile products and businesses. Geoff is passionate about creating truly useful and intuitive applications that help make people’s lives better. Geoff has extensive direct experience in starting and building companies in both mobile content and location-based services. From 1997 – 2001, Geoff was a Co-Founder and then CEO of TrafficStation, which grew to provide interactive traffic information services in 30 markets across North America and distribution with clients such as Yahoo!, Microsoft, Excite, MSN, Daimler Chrysler and XM Satellite Radio.
From 2004 – 2008, Geoff helped Lagardere Media launch its interactive business in North America (first as a consultant then as VP, Business Development) forging partnerships and creating mobile offerings with partners such as Viacom, Paramount, Lagardere, Cingular/AT&T Wireless and Sprint. In the Fall of 2006, Lagardere spun this business out with a $60M round of investment to become Cellfish Media and grew to $100m+ in revenues by 2008.
Richard Moore, Chief Operating Officer
Dick brings 30 years of success and experience in Enterprise Software Sales and Operations. Dick started in technology with Unisys Corporation, where he spent 18 years, rising to his last position as Vice President of Sales for the Network Enable Group. After leaving Unisys, Dick transitioned to operational and executive leadership roles, including President and COO of Financial Fusion, SVP of Pyramid Technology, and COO and Board Member of Honorvet, Inc. a nonprofit helping military veterans. Dick is a graduate of Syracuse University.
GDS Inc. has been providing wayfinding signage, planning services and environmental graphic design concepts since 1996, with over 300 satisfied clients. GDS has deep expertise and experience in the hospital/healthcare environment, providing turn key solutions encompassing design, fabrication, installation and maintenance. GDS has also designed creative signage solutions for schools, universities, and corporate facilities.
GDS operates fabrication and assembly facilities in Long Island City, NY, and Manchester, NH and works closely with construction companies and architects in understanding the needs of their clients and partnering on signage projects.
